A Christmas to remember

I can't believe Christmas has come and gone...wow what a season of being super busy, family functions, and Maci's firsts! The cousins Christmas party was so much fun...Kenzli was there and she just loves baby Maci so much! Christmas eve was Susie's party and Maci and Connor was two busy little people. Maci got tons of clothes and toys from Nana and Grandpa Johnny! Patrick's sister Amanda, is about to POP! Baby, Sophie will be here in February. Christmas day was a blast, Santa left lots of goodies for Maci. Daddy had to work so we made our annual trip to Brenham, with Lolli and Poppi. The day after Christmas Maci officially started crawling. This was by far the best Christmas season. Our family is growing, and we'll have lots of little people next Christmas season....Chase & Hadley will be the new additions to the Graham family in 2010. I am so blessed to have such a loving family!

Two little bottom checklet teeth have surfaced....I cannot believe my baby has two teeth...in baby world this is huge!!!! Last night was rough...she was very fussy and wanted me only, so Daddy snored while I comforted my sweet baby girl. It was 12:45 when I finally got her to sleep. I slept on her floor, just in case she woke up fussing, I could hear her. I had to be up for work around 4:30. Man, I am feeling it and it's 4:30 pm. But,I will look back on nights like these and truly Cherish my time I got to spend with her. She won't be a baby forever...so on one hand I like when she only wants mommy. I hate that she's not feeling well, and at times I feel like there is nothing I can do. I'm thinking the top teeth are coming in...need cold tethers and lots of Tylenol!

Happy Six months Maci Jade!

I should have posted this October 17th...but I am just now posting this a month late....( she's almost 7 months now...) I have had it saved on my computer as a draft, just forgot to post to my blog....busy mommy....story of my life....

Wow! Six months ago, I was confined to an Icu bed while my precious, 4lb baby girl was fighting for her life in the NICU Nursery. Now, that precious baby girl is happy and healthy! It amazes me how smart this little bitty person can be. She is definitely just like mommy and knows what she wants right then! Maci definitely has a personality of her own. She has begun rolling over but can't get her arm out from under herself. She has also discovered her voice, and loves to talk. She also has started noticing peoples faces and cries when she's not familiar with who's talking or holing her. She is reaching for everything now and her eye hand coordination is getting really good. She loves chewing on just about anything. I think she has started teething, because she's drooling a lot. She loves her cereal with applesauce and absolutely loves peas! She does so great with the spoon. Everyday is a stepping stone, and every little new thing is so exciting! She reached for my face yesterday when I was rocking her to sleep, and my heart melted! Her daddy put her jumper together, and her little toes just about touch the floor. When I hold her, i Cherish every minute of it! These next six months I will hold dear to my heart.

This weekend I actually stayed home, and Saturday stayed in my pj's till about five p.m. For me that is so rare. I spent time mostly, with Maci, Daddy was working so it was just she and I during the day. I love her age ( 5 1/2 months)- she is now laughing, rolling over, follows me when I leave the room and smiles at just about anyone! She is also making a "puckering lip" and cries when strangers scare her. I am totally amazed at how fast she has grown, in these short 5 1/2 months. As I was home this weekend I was going thru all of her preemie/ newborn clothes, and oh how tiny they are. I also went thru her album from when we were in the hospital, and can't believe the once 4lb. baby girl is now my (guesstimate) 14lb. chunk~a~lunk! I am a SAD mommy because she is growing SOOO fast but, so very blessed that my cupcake is healthy! Some mommy's can't say that, but God has molded this sweet innocent baby girl, into a perfect masterpiece, and I truly am grateful.

Happy Fall Ya'll

The weather is finally becoming cooler. I have a beautiful Pumpkin and Scarecrow( LOL) that has my heart. I am so ready to see a yard full of red and orange leaves and pumpkins galore! This is my favorite time of year! I love the rich and beautiful colors of fall! Happy Fall! Can't wait till Halloween, Maci's first! Then, Thanksgiving...yum! yum!
